CLASSIC SCARF WEAVING KIT with 4/2 Yarn
This Kit comes with all of the hand dyed 4/2 Silk Yarn necessary to complete a woven scarf. Six weaving patterns are included - this Kit will make one scarf. You can also create your own design. Whichever design method you choose, your scarf will be eye catching and silky soft!
APPROXIMATE SCARF SIZE: 10 inches wide by 72 inches long (or more, depending on your loom waste) - plus an additional 2-3 inches of fringe on each end.
KIT INCLUDES:
Instructions - for 6 different stripe patterns - amount of yarn provided will create 1 scarf.
2 Space Dyed Silk Warps - Warps are 3 Yards long.
1 Warp - 3 Yards Long - 10 ends of commercially dyed Rayon Slub.
Weft - Approximately 300 yards of commercially dyed Rayon Slub.

SAKIORI SCARF WEAVING KIT
Sakiori is a Japanese word deriving from saki (to tear or rip up) and ori (to weave together). The process is the same as American and European rag fabric weaving. Sakiori Kits include a warp of hand dyed silk yarn and a weft of hand dyed silk fabric that has been ripped up into weavable strips of rag cloth.
APPROXIMATE SCARF SIZE: 7.5 inches wide by 65" inches long. The ultimate length of the scarf depends on your loom waste and choice of fringe finishing.
KIT INCLUDES:
Instructions - This kit comes with all of the materials necessary to complete one silky rag fabric scarf.
1 Warp - 90 ends 12/2 hand-dyed silk, 2.5 yards long.
2 Wefts - Hand-dyed silk Habutai, ripped into rags and wound into a ball for ease of use. Approximately 200 yards of commercially dyed Rayon Slub. These will be alternated, pic and pic, in the weaving process.
