The North Carolina Museum of Art recently commissioned a complete ensemble of Torah ornaments from Jerusalem silversmith and artist Sari Srulovitch. Sari worked with North Carolina weaver/artist Neal Howard and conservationist/artist Ruth Cox. Neal was honored to be a part of this project which celebrated the meaning and artistry of creating innovation in traditional Jewish ceremonial objects.
